Child of The Temple: You gain a + 1 trait bonus on Knowledge (nobility) and Knowledge (religion) checks, and Knowledge (nobility) is always a class skill for you.
Resilient: You gain a + 1 trait bonus on Fortitude saves.
Combat Casting: You get a + 4 bonus on concentration checks made to cast a spell or use a spell-like ability when casting on the defensive or while grappled.
Rebuke Death(Sp): You can touch a living creature as a standard action, healing it for 1d4 points of damage plus 1 for every two cleric levels you possess. You can only use this ability on a creature that is below 0 hit points. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Healer’s Blessing(Su): At 6th level, all of your cure spells are treated as if they were empowered, increasing the amount of damage healed by half (+50%). This does not apply to damage dealt to undead with a cure spell. This does not stack with the Empower Spell metamagic feat.
Deflection Aura(Su): Once each day, you can emit a 20-foot aura for a number of rounds equal to your cleric level. Allies within the aura gain a +2 deflection bonus to AC and combat maneuver defense.
Aura of Protection(Su): At 8th level, you can emit a 30-foot aura of protection for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level. You and your allies within this aura gain a +1 deflection bonus to AC and resistance 5 against all elements (acid, cold, electricity, fire, and sonic). The deflection bonus increases by +1 for every four cleric levels you possess beyond 8th. At 14th level, the resistance against all elements increases to 10. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.
Protection Domain Granted Power: Your faith is your greatest source of protection, and you can use that faith to defend others. In addition, you receive a +1 resistance bonus on saving throws. This bonus increases by 1 for every 5 levels you possess.
Syana Rynwor has a divine feel about her. While this makes some uneasy, it also makes many feel calm and comfortable. She has Blonde almost golden hair, blue eyes that seem to pierce your soul and a very white pigment with rosy tone to her skin. She also has a small patch of freckles on her nose. She always wears a white robe with a necklas of her diety around her neck.
Syana was born to two very loving parents, her father was a veteran soldier of the local militia and her mother was part of the local church clergy. When Syana was 6 years old her small village was attacked by demons. Her father, along with the militia, were only able to hold the demons at the village gate for a couple of minutes before they were overrun and left dieing and dead. Her mother escaped with her and two other villagers, one another female member of the church, the other the Priest.
It wasn’t long before the 4 survivors were deep within the woods running for their lives. After a few minutes of running the group slowed thinking that they had gotten far enough to not be followed when a bright light followed by spits of fire immolated the woman who was accompanying them. She fell to the ground, dead. The Priest turned to Syana and her mother motioning them to go, to run, then he turned back towards the now visible demons holding his symbol of Sarenrae out at arms length and chanting a hymn to the Goddess.
Without warning a flash of light appeared much like the one before but from one of the demons’ mouths, more spits of fire hurled its way to the Priest and then darkness.
Syana awoke within a small temple, much like the one she had been to in her village. She looked around, trying to find her mother or the priest but she was the only one in the sanctuary. Standing, tears pouring down her face, she stumbled through the small temple looking for her mother.
She found a man about her father’s age, dressed in all white attending to some chores. He approached her, knelt down to his knee and placed his hands on her shoulders.
“Child, are you okay? I found you in the forest this morning, unconscious after stumbling upon the burnt village. You may stay here, in this temple, as long as you like until we find you another home.
Over time the Priest fell in love with this child even to the point of calling her his own daughter, and she began calling him, not just her father, but her dad. He taught her about Sarenrae and how she protects all good folks in the world. He also taught her how to defend herself with the power of Sarenrae and how to heal others with that same power.
Syana became very knowledgeable about her Goddess and soon her thirst for more knowledge overcame her and she set out to the closest city she could find, visiting the vasts libraries. Her studies taught her about demons, all kinds of demons, what they looked like, what their weaknesses were. It was not long, making trips between her home and the city, when she decided to set out on her own bidding her adoptive father goodbye and in search of clues and information on what demons attacked her village. She did not want revenge, no, she didn’t want anymore demons to ruin anymore lives. Revenge was not the answer.
